Folding Sky Collection No. 03 MauveDarkSand from Rug Star AUTUMN30 Fracto in Ink from theFolding Sky No. 03 is a perfect marriage of analogue, digital, and material manipulation. The Folding Sky Collection came about through a merging of analogue and digital means. First, photographs of the sky were taken outside of Rug Star's Berlin office. These photographs were printed on paper, which was then folded in various ways to crease the image. These sheets were then scanned and digital manipulation of the colors began. The unexpected motion
