This item is made to order. This is a mens unisex sweatshirt. However, we cut two Gildan brand G 180 style sweatshirts in half and sew them back together, so you lose about 1 inch around the body. I would say it is a modern fit. For women, I recommend ordering your natural womens size for the most comfortable conservative fit. You can order one size down if you like your sweatshirts snug
