The stud backings are set slightly off centre to allow a comfortable fit a little below the earlobe

This backless design allows both sides of the stone to be viewed

so both sides of the stone can be displayed

I create these earrings by gradually mixing and colouring layers of resin over a flat surface

I was happily surprised with this piece

Opalised Wood Rectangle Pendant Stud The stud backings are setOpalised wood set in a sterling silver rectangle pendant. This was a tricky piece to complete. This piece of opalised wood is fantastically beautiful, it was also quite soft and difficult to work, leading to a few imperfections in the surface. I am still very happy with the piece, and there is a small section of iridescence that the camera wasn't able to fully capture.
