The dress slips over the head to wear and has an inner tie belt attached inside at the front on each side

It buttons along the front and the skirt goes right to the ground

I spoke to the person who handled the sale of this dress for the original owner and this was custom made for her and most likely dates to the 1958-59 season

but meant to dip a bit at the back so that is why it is cut slightly more generously
