It is made out of a deep blue jersey and there are yards of that jersey used in its construction. The top drapes up to a single shoulder and is suspended there by a thick braided strap that curves over the shoulder and across the back. The back is left completely bare otherwise and it is set into the back skirt so it almost "lifts"
