Edward IV Penny, Heavy Coinage, London, annulets by neck, ex English Doctor with V over inverted AEdward IV, first reign (1461 70), silver long cross Penny, heavy coinage (1461 64), London Mint, facing crowned bust, annulet either side of neck, Latin legend and beaded borders surrounding both sides, initial mark rose, EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL, rev. long cross pattee, trio of pellets in each angle, CIVI TAS LOn DOn, weight 0. 92g (Blunt and Whitton IV, plate II No. 7; N. 1541; S. 1986). Toned with an imposing portrait, a bold to good very fine and
