The FDA is reportedly conducting a review to determine whether e-cigarettes are beneficial enough to be allowed to remain on the market (devices such as the Juul are used by some as a means to quit smoking tobacco)
Though smoking any product may negatively affect health, hemp cigarettes are not considered to be chemically addictive like nicotine [2]
The implementation deadline for the first set will be April 30, 2024, at the manufacturer level and July 31, 2024, at the retail level for cigarettes that are 83-85 mm in length (which is the standard cigarette length internationally, and which in Canada is called "King Size" length) and April 30, 2025, at the retail level for cigarettes that are 70-73 mm in length
