This head provides an excellent armature for masking as the Styrofoam holds applied clay securely. Because latex shrinks wen it cure it is necessary to build up the thickness of this head so that a mask will fit properly when cured. Once the head is increased to about 15 20% over sized then a two part plaster mold can be made of the new sculpt. The plaster mold can be used to make a permanent model for mask making
