Bach transcribed Concerto in D minor, originally the famous Oboe concerto by Alessandro Marcello (the older brother of Benedetto Marcello) around 1730 and fashioned it into Harpsichord Concerto No. 3, BWV 974. The work is in three movements, Fast Slow Fast and is about eleven minutes in length. For advanced performers, Mr. Sauer has included some ornaments, some of which are written out, all in a very tasteful, beautiful style. Free pdf Sample
